About Me

After 22 years as a software engineer and project manager, I pursued my passion for music and the piano by returning to school.  I received my professional certification as a piano technician and tuner from the North Bennet Street School in Boston. I interned at Tanglewood, the summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, where I assisted in pre-season preparation of numerous pianos at the various Tanglewood venues. In addition to my busy tuning schedule and concert preparation work, I specialize in the engineering aspects of piano acoustics, design, and piano construction. I am an accomplished technician in regulation, reconditioning, piano repairs, and complete restoration projects for grand and vertical pianos.
